MEET MELISSA

Welcome!! I'm Melissa Starr Brandel of Melissa Starr Portraiture. 

My photography journey started with capturing my two oldest daughters, which then grew into photographing friends, family, and even our favorite dance studio (Extreme Dance Arts).

Over the years, my photography business and family have grown. 

Along with my loving (and handy) husband, David. 

We have three daughters and one son. 

I shoot on-location throughout Mid-Michigan as well as travel sessions when requested. My photography studio is located on beautiful family property just outside of Saginaw, in Hemlock. It's a wonderful setting for both studio and outdoor photography.
